BLOG

During the few interviews we have been doing with the students we have been surprised to know that potatoes where actually interesting. Some people are just fixed on the idea that potatoes are boring and unattractive but some others (maybe with a wider mind) think this project is really interesting and original. Original, let’s talk about originality you really got to have a huge imagination as a teacher (Mrs. McCurdy) to think of potatoes as a project subject. Every day we work on potatoes we are getting more and more information that we would have never thought could be real, for example Pamela and Alexa told us last class that Pamela Anderson donated money to a potato foundation. If we look at the progress of the teams, they are almost all getting started on their power points or word documents.

January 8th:  On January 8th, Mrs. Johnston came to our class to discuss about potatoes. She shows us pictures(1 picture means 2000 words, Mrs. McCurdy) and we saw the movie of her work. We learned a lot about potatoes and I think that her visit was a good way to introduce the project! She autographs all our book No Small Potatoes and we will rebember her personality.
